Position Summary/Requirements: Directs the Infection Prevention (IP) Program within San Benito Health
Care District (SBHCD) and Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital (HHMH) to ensure
compliance with TJC, State and CMS regulations. Works in collaboration
with hospital leaders to plan, coordinate, and evaluate IP program, policies
and activities. Updates annual IP risk assessment, IP Plan with environmental,
Programmatic, facility, and/or regulatory changes. Provides expert consultation
and education to minimize healthcare associated infections and transmission
among patients, staff, providers and visitors. Also responsible for coordinating
the emergency preparedness program for HHMH to develop and implement action
plans to prepare for internal and external disaster response. Work with
state, county, community, and hospital leaders and agencies to provide
comprehensive and coordinated responses to emergency/disaster situations.
Minimum 1-3 years' experience in infection prevention, including nursing,
epidemiology public health or related field required. Active CA RN or

Position Summary/Requirements: The Director of Quality provides operational and strategic leadership to support the SBHCD mission of delivering healthcare the community can trust. The Director works collaboratively with senior leadership, physicians, risk management, nursing, pharmacy and leadership to develop and implement a best-in-class hospital's quality and safety program and to ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation. Works closely with the CMO to develop, monitor, and educate others on the use of patient data systems that drive improvement and reporting of patient outcomes through the use of evidence-based data and scorecards.
