Quality/Risk Director – Quality – REQ # HRS- 245

Status/Shift:Full Time Exempt
Position Summary/Requirements: Current RN License. CPHQ certification preferred. Certification in risk management preferred. Additional course work in performance improvement and CQI. 3 or more years of previous experience in acute care nursing. Previous experience in performance improvement activities preferred. 3 or more years of previous clinical experience in an acute care setting. 2 or more years of management experience in the managed care arena, familiarity with Utilization Review concepts. Five years experience in healthcare, including compliance issues concerning TJC, DHS and HCFA standards. Responsible for direction of the Quality Resource Management Department and the various functions under its umbrella, including Quality Improvement, Infection Control, Employee Health, Case Management, Utilization Review, Social Services, Population Health and regulatory compliance. Physical ability to perform all duties.
