STATEMENT REGARDING SAN BENITO HEALTH CARE DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS ANNOUNCES BOARD VACANCY
6/25/2026 – Hollister, Calif. – San Benito Health Care District (District) Board of Directors Announces that a vacancy exists for the District 5 Zone seat on the Board of Directors.
Pursuant to Health Care District Law and the District Bylaws, the term of any member of the Board shall expire if he or she is absent from three consecutive regular meetings, or from three of any five consecutive meetings of the Board and the Board by resolution declares that a vacancy exists on the Board.
The Bylaws further provide those vacancies created in this manner, as well as vacancies resulting from resignation, death, or relocation outside the boundaries of the District or District Zone, shall be filled by the methods provided by law.
The Board of Directors remains committed to ensuring continued representation for residents of District 5 and will proceed to fill the vacancy in a process compliant with all applicable bylaws and legal requirements.
